Paint Correction

What is Paint Correction?
Paint Correction is a term used by professional detailers around the world to describe the process of restoring and rejuvenating a vehicle’s paint condition. This process is made up of many steps to achieve the highest results and shine of one’s paint. With the use of Polishers and other tools, we level down a very small amount of the paint’s clear coat and in turn remove scratches, oxidation, swirl marks, holograms, hard water spotting, and more clear coat imperfections.
After a Vehicle is properly washed and dried, we can start the correction process. Firstly we decontaminate the exterior paint with the use of an Iron remover. This process breaks down and removes harmful Iron buildups on the paint’s surface. These metal build ups are caused from brake dust, road debris and more, which can lead to exterior panels rusting and ultimately jeopardizing the quality of your paint and vehicle.

After decontaminating the paint through Iron Removers, we move onto the Clay Bar treatment. This is the simplistic process of using a block of clay to remove things from the paint that a standard wash cannot remove. This includes things such as tree sap, road tar, fall out, glass, metals, and any other contaminants. After the clay bar process, the vehicle's paint will be very slick and free of any contaminants and debris.

Now we introduce the step of Paint Correction. Depending on the Package Level you choose for your vehicle, you can expect anywhere from 50% to 99% or better increase in the gloss and shine of your paint and clear coat!
Level 1 Paint Correction includes a One Step Polishing of the vehicle's paint that will restore anywhere from 50%-75% of the paint’s condition. Whereas a Level 3 or 4 Package you can expect anywhere from 90%-100% increase of the paint’s finish. This difference is achieved by performing a one or two step Compounding process and even the use of wet sanding.
